Ian has been actively engaged in the Outdoor Education Industry for the past 22 years as a Dive Instructor, Rock Climbing Instructor, Environmental Educator and Sea Kayak Instructor. Requirement for Dive Professionals in NSW
SafeWork NSW has recently announced a new requirement for divers undertaking general diving work for recreational diver training or recreational dive tours in New South Wales (NSW). Dive tour operators, dive leaders and instructors holding ISO-based recreational dive leader and dive supervisor qualifications must successfully complete and hold a Statement of Attainment for BSBWHS211 Contribute to the health and safety of self and others from the 1st of January 2023.
