PADI RTO has just released its new Diving Work Health and Safety Course that will help you meet the requirements set out by SafeWork NSW for the relevant competencies for general diving work. Once successfully completed, you will be able to request a Statement of Attainment for BSBWHS211 Contribute to the health and safety of self and others from PADI RTO.

All divers undertaking general diving work in New South Wales (NSW) providing paid services to recreational dive customers and using ISO qualifications, such as PADI Divemasters, PADI Assistant Instructors or PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors must successfully complete and hold a Statement of Attainment for BSBWHS211 Contribute to the health and safety of self and others before the 1st of January 2023.

The course can be completed entirely online, at your own pace and in the comfort of your home. Most students will take around two hours to complete the course which discusses Work Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, Identifying Workplace Hazards and Managing Risks and Dive Planning, Reporting and Records. The course is specifically written for the recreational diving industry and is applicable to dive professionals from all training organisations.
